Description

Select Specialty Hospital in Houston, TX. is seeking a Medical Records Manager to plan, organize, and direct the Medical Records Services.

 

The Medical Records Manager ensures that corporate coders are provided scanned medical records and procedure log information so that timely, accurate concurrent coding can be accomplished. Responsible for timely record completion, placing dictated documentation in the correct record, ensuring that medical records are maintained in order including thinned records, and that file records are filed and stored according to policy and procedure.  The Medical Records Manager complies with all regulatory and HIPAA policies.


The positions requires a Bachelor degree and credentialing as a Registered Records Administrator (RRA). 

One to three (1-3) years experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager of a Medical Records Department preferred.
