Charter College
is looking for a dynamic relationship builder to join our team as a Career Services Officer/Employer Relations (CSO/E).  The primary function of the CSO/E will focus on developing and maintaining employer relationships and developing externship/internship opportunities for our students, with the goal of expanding the learning opportunities for our students, and with the goal of placing our graduates in careers.

This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic relationship builder, someone who can work with employers government agencies in the area and develop job orders.

Job Duties will include, but not be limited to:
•Develop job orders from employers, send graduates’ resumes, assist in scheduling interviews, and follow-up with employers and graduates.
•Develop and maintain relationships with employers for the purposes of externship/internship and job placement of graduates.
•Providing backup to the Director of Career Services in several initiatives, which may include feasibility studies, reporting, achieving budgeted objectives, ensuring school compliance with campus, state, and accreditation standards/criteria relating to placement.
•Organize job fairs on campus, attend outside job fairs, invite employers to speak to current students, and arrange on-campus interviews.
•Follow-up on posted internet and newspaper job leads.
•Generate program interest with city associations and local employers. 
•Special projects as assigned by Director of Career Services.
•Other duties as required.

Requirements

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

•Associates required.  Bachelors degree preferred.
•Current driver’s license is required.
•Minimum Four (4) years experience in staffing / recruiting; marketing/new business development/sales; or specific industry experience in field(s) of Charter College’s externship programs such as medical, legal and dental assisting, medical coding and billing and/or pharmacy technician required.
•Four (4) years experience in career services or job placement department at a vocational school, college, or university preferred.
•Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.
•Ability to pass a background investigation required.
