Animal Research Technician

ANIMAL RESEARCH TECHNICIAN (Richland Farms, Michigan)- Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree in Animal Science preferred but not required, and at least two years experience working on a farm with a variety of companion and livestock animals. Experience with farm equipment is needed for this position. Candidate should have experience with animal husbandry procedures, sample collection, record keeping, and processing data utilizing “Good Laboratory Practices". Must be able to lift 40lbs to 60lbs, climb, stoop, bend, reach, and stand for prolonged periods. Be responsible and reliable to work independently when necessary, and maintain good customer relations. Demonstrated math and reading comprehension and good oral and written communication skills are required. Demonstrated computer skills preferred. This position is located at Richland Farms and is a full-time position from the hours of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Some weekend and holiday hours maybe required.
