Description

Data Analyst/Crystal Reports Writer for a healthcare organization with locations throughout Delaware.  The candidate needs to be comfortable with going to different client sites – strong communications skills are very important. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

-      Develop and manage the relationship with clients

-      Assist in the resolution of customer requests and/or complaints

-      Maintain regular contact with key client contacts at each account

-      Periodic onsite visits with clients

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

-      Establish and document procedures for the completion of project tasks

-      Track the status of all relevant project tasks

-      Communicate effectively with project team members, sponsors, and stake holders during the development and implementation of the project

-      Prepare and present project reviews and status updates

TECHNOLOGY

-      SQL Query and Database

-      Crystal Reports X and XI

-      Clinical data systems

-      MS Office and specifically expertise in Excel

WORKFLOW AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

-      Follow established procedures for completing tasks

-      Communicate frequently with team members on projects and client issues

-      Perform periodic technology and end user assessments of client sites

-      Maintain a high level of product and process knowledge through certifications and monitoring industry trends

ADMINISTRATION

-      Accurately update project activity logs according to established procedures

-      Submit all required reporting by established deadlines

CUSTOMER SERVICE

-      Understand and respond to customer needs and requests

-      Communicate customer comments, personal observations, and concerns to appropriate personnel

-      Assist client management teams in regular meetings with customer to review current site status and suggest operational improvements

-      Identify opportunities to provide value-added services and areas for potential growth for existing clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

-      Must have strong computer software skills, varied computer experience.

-      2+ years of expertise with SQL Server, SQL Query, MS Server 2005, MS Query, Excel and Crystal X and XI. 

-      Extensive knowledge of Crystal to create Cross Tabs, Charts, Sub Reports, Drill Down Reports and modify existing reports

-      Perform Requirements gathering, report design, Data Integrity Management, System Functionality Optimization and Define/Conduct User Acceptance Testing of reports using Crystal Reports

-      Good understanding of how to work with Crystal including how to Publish Reports, Manage Users, Grant Permissions, and Schedule Reports

-       Excellent requirements gathering and communication skills and able to discuss ideas with the end users

-        Knowledge of governmental healthcare regulations helpful

-         Previous experience supporting healthcare systems and or patient care systems helpful
-         Ability to lead requirements gathering and design sessions with clients without crystal reports expertise

-          End User Training and Training Documentation

-       An understanding of network infrastructure including LAN/WAN/VPN is helpful.

-      Experience with hardware such as Dell Servers and PCs, Routers, Switches, VPN’s and Network Performance Tuning a plus.

-      Demonstrate customer service and user interface skills. 

-      Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks

-      Excellent verbal and written communication skills; express ideas in a clear, organized and articulate manner

-      Good customer service, judgment, and interpersonal skills

-      Strong interpersonal skills for project supervision

-      Experience with project management

-      ACE, CRCP or similar certifications helpful

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

-     Prior experience in technology and customer service

-      Clinical skills or experience in the healthcare setting helpful

-      Ability to learn new technology, software, and processes quickly and retain the knowledge

ADDITIONAL:

-      Work independently with remote supervision

-      Work flexible hours as necessary

-      Able to travel to various customer sites,

-      Able to lift common desktop equipment including PCs, Printers and desktop scanners.
