The Coding Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the coding manager in planning and organizing the clinical reimbursement area in the HIM Department.

Qualifications required:
-
RHIA, RHIT or CCS credential with 2 years of DRG validation experience required

3 + years coding experience in an Inpatient acute care setting

Thorough knowledge of AHA Coding Guidelines
-
Comprehensive knowledge of the MS-DRG/APC structure and regulatory requirements
-
Proficiency with 3M Encoder/Quantum
-
Practical knowledge of clinical software helpful
