Description

POET, the world's largest ethanol producer and leader in biorefining has a great opportunity available for a Milling Manager at our Coon Rapids, IA Biorefining location.

POET is an established leader in the biorefining industry. The 20-year old company currently operates 26 production facilities in the U.S. producing and marketing more than 1.6 billion gallons of ethanol annually.

The Milling Manager is responsible for fractionation plant production and directly supervises the Milling Operators. The Milling Manager maximizes efficiencies of fractionation while working the QA/QC and ethanol process teams to optimize plant run time.

Requirements Qualifications needed:

3+ years experience in an operating processing plant environment such as grain processing, chemical processing or pharmaceutical.

Experience in managing and supervising a workforce to achieve results.

B.S. or greater in Agriculture, Milling Science, or a related fied.

Knowledge of start-up and optimization of corn dry-milling process is preferred.
