Description

Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS), located at St Vincent Health, in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a customer focused Systems Analyst who would be responsible for the planning, design, build, implementation and support of the Eclipsys Emergency system.  The focus of this position will be targeted towards an analyst with 2 or more years IT experience, and some clinical expertise.


This Analyst will:

 

  • Be responsible for a mix of support, maintenance, and implementations
  • Be responsible for system upgrades, daily error logs and trouble tickets from customers
  • Perform necessary testing and training with the customer base on Eclipsys related projects
  • Posses the ability to work well in a team environment and be able to manage multiple tasks
  • Participate in weekly On-Call rotations
  • Provide some clinical insight and perspective to the system processes

Requirements
  • Minimum of Associate Degree is required
  • 2 or more years work experience either in a System Analysis role (providing implementation, troubleshooting, training, documentation) OR direct CLINICAL experience is required
  • Working knowledge of the following is preferred:  MS SQL, Crystal reports, MS Office, Interfaces, Emergency Department Systems
  • Clinical expertise is preferred
  • Eclipsys or Quest experience is desirable
  • Ability to fulfill the On Call rotation requirements
  • Willingness to reside within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN
