Solutions Development Analyst (Sharepoint/Portal) - Symphony

Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS) and the Ministry Intelligence Center (MIC) is seeking a mid-level Solution Development Analyst to participate in the development efforts for the MIC program.  This programs covers the development of an enterprise portal, collaboration toolsets, a data warehouse, and business intelligent dashboards.

This Solution Development Analyst's duties will include the following: 

• Code design/development on the collaboration toolsets and Enterprise Portal (SharePoint 2007 & Oracle Web Center Interactive respectively),
• Support of collaboration toolset, Enterprise Portal, & list serv technologies,
• Integration and development on other MIC technologies,
• Researching solutions and technology,
• Adhering  to development methodology and standards,
• Creating technical requirement documents from business requirements,
• Project management of small initiatives,
• Developing  of test plans and documentation

• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience developing with Microsoft Visual Studio utilizing C# and .NET technologies and/or equivalent JAVA based toolsets required.
• Experience with relational database design and development (SQL Server 2005/Oracle) required
• Experience/knowledge developing multi-tier web applications
• Experience developing on Microsoft SharePoint Services 2007 is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle data warehousing or business intelligence toolset is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle Web Center Suite (primarily Web Center Interactive - portal) toolset is a plus
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Self starter with excellent customer service skills, ability to problem solve, and self directed. 
• Willingness to reside within a commutable distance of Birmingham, AL
• Ability to fulfill the requirements of On-Call rotations.
