Job Description

American Resource Staffing has several great opportunities for Call Center Representative for our fun client in Beverly, MA. The customer service representatives will answer incoming sales calls and customer service calls.
The hours for this position are 130pm-10pm, but candidates need to be able to train on first shift for the first couple of weeks.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will include taking 50-70 calls per day
  • Contribute to contact center objectives on service level and abandoned calls
  • Provide proper escalation to Team Leads and/or management to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Learn and utilize all the tools necessary to ensure a quality phone call
  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times in support of customer satisfaction
  • Provide outbound calling as needed to ensure proper follow-up. Maintain open availability work shifts required to staff for call volumes
  • Resolves product or order problems by clarifying the issue; determining the cause of the problem, selecting the best solution to resolve the problem and following up to insure resolution
  • Keeping Sales-team informed of Sales and Purchase Order issues, working with them to resolve delays or missing customer information
  • Answer incoming sales calls and customer service calls.
  • Ability to handle large call volumes and adhere to schedules.
  • Upsell and Cross sell as appropriate and help diffuse customer escalations with proper problem solving techniques.
  • Handle Customer Service issues with product returns, back orders, discounting and escalation to Lead.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent experience in a call center environment
  • Demonstrated success and proven track record meeting or exceeding quota
  • Ability to effectively make 50-70 calls/day
  • Excellent phone presence and ability to turnaround inactive customers
  • Desire to develop and grow in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Desire to develop and grow in a customer service environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and use of internet
  • Possess high-energy, adventuresome, responsive, focused, and caring attributes
  • WPM of 20+
  • Proven ability to control a situation and create a win-win solution is required
