Job Description

 

      My client, a high-tech manufacturing, and design corporation, in the Aerospace / Aircraft Parts  industry is  looking for you if you have exp. in Complicated Aircraft Structure Assembly!!!!!!
                                      Must be a US Citizen or Current Green Card Holder.

This position is responsible for the direction, strategy, planning, and execution for the Assembly Manufacturing Operations. Responsibilities include achieving specific financial objectives set by the organization, and directly associated with the management and oversight of the assembly process. Assumes responsibilities for the development and implementation of processes to meet quality, efficiency, safety, and scheduling standards and goals.

 Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages the activities related to the assembly operations and ensures timely completion & delivery of parts while meeting &/or exceeding budget and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Develops manufacturing strategies to meet customer and company goals and implement the strategies throughout the assembly environment.
  • Responsible for the development & implementation of all major processes & procedures associated with managing the products assembly operations.
  • Oversees and leads continuous improvement programs / projects to incorporate industry leading practices into the assembly operations.
  • Establishes best practices to increase efficiencies & reduce waste.
  • Provides department leadership by establishing organizational and individual goals to include key performance metrics for all areas of responsibly. Monitors progress, makes modifications & manages performance as necessary to ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Establishes monitors & maintains departmental budgets for all areas of responsibility.

 

Job Requirements

       

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred.
  • 4+ years’ management level experience with at least 8 years in assembly production (Aircraft Structures).
  • Prev. structural aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Supports business development by working with new and existing customers to understand their requirement and develop solutions for their needs.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within the organization
