ANDROID DEVELOPER

Job Description

ANDROID DEVELOPER needed to assist our client company in designing, building and supporting the next generation of mobile applications for the Android platform. He/she will:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and build new applications and features.
  • Be able to fix bugs and and enhance application performance.
  • Be able to unit-test code, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
  • Work with APIs and outside data sources.
  • Seek out and evaluate bleeding edge technologies to enhance development efficiency.

 


Job Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship or visa transfer.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of Android development, including publishing of two+ original Android applications.
  • Have experience with Android SDK, and working with APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Have experience with remote data via JSON and REST.
  • Have broad knowledge of mobile architectures, trends and bleeding edge technologies.
  • Have at least 2 years of software development experience, as well as a solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Possess a BSCS/BSCE, or degree in a related discipline (MSCS/MSCE is a "plus").


This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity where the successful candidate will receive a base salary of $90-115K, +/-, DOE, plus an annual performance bonus, a potential sign on stock grant, and an excellent full benefits package.
