Marc Community Resources's Group Homes and Day Programs are interested in candidates who have a passion for working with individuals with a developmental disability, are willing to work hard, learn new skills, and be team players. What are some of the responsibilities of a Direct Service Provider (caregiver, care aid, care professional)? Here is a brief summary that is by no means all inclusive:
Provide direct care duties, including necessary activities regarding social skills, employment skills, and daily living skills. Provide services that are person centered, incorporate active treatment, are developmentally/age appropriate, culturally sensitive and show respect and dignity.
Ensure the implementation of applicable support plan objectives as wells the completion of necessary assessments/evaluations for each individual and present necessary information at support planning meetings. Encourage consumers to participate in all areas of community life. Assist and encourage consumers in making informed choices.
Variety of shifts available working in Group Homes and Day Programs: group homes consist of 5-6 adults with disabilities. Day Programs consist of anywhere between 20-30 individuals with disabilities. Staffing in the group homes is 24/7. Staffing for Day Programs is 7:00am-4:00pm.
Pay: $8.50-$9.25 per hour depending on location; a Group Home Supervisor for Apache Jct. Group Home
