Client Account Manager

The Client Account Manager role is a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients in Charlotte, NC. Client does not allow posting of salary, but compensation is a base/commission package. Responsibilities of the Client Account Manager:
The Account Manager is directly responsible for the management and development of viable existing accounts. Duties include maintenance of client relationships, account support, and prospect within account for new business opportunities.
  • Participate in cross functional sales and marketing campaigns designed to up-sell current clients.
  • Select and prioritize the high-growth and value opportunities within the client base.
  • Serve as a liaison with clients regarding new product launches.
  • Assist with the successful transition of clients from sales to implementation and service delivery.
  • Prospecting and Planning – Identifies high potential sales opportunities within the client base and targets them. Builds rapport and educates the client with the use of internal and external resources.
  • Qualifying and Analysis – Leads and develops an account strategy using the clients business objectives, growth plans, technical needs, budget and project timelines.
  • Proposing and Closing – Submits and presents the client a comprehensive proposal with a solution that achieves the business goals. Responsible for all client contract renewal and negotiations.

Job Requirements

Skill Requirements of the Client Account Manager:
  • Bachelor’s level degree
  • At least 2 - 5 years of experience in a sales role with a quota
  • Prior technology sales experience is desired, but in interest in technology sales could work for the right team fit
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must work effectively with associates; team player
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; must communicate effectively in a professional manner
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage priorities, and remain professional at all times
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Must display a willingness to learn and self initiative
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Possess a customer service-oriented approach
