Service Technician

Job Description

Join a national service organization offering training, safety and career advancement in the industrial weighing systems industry. As an Industrial Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration and service of customer’s weighing equipment. We are looking for someone that has a strong desire to learn a trade and wiliness to be part of a team that exceeds our customers’ expectations. We will provide basic and ongoing training, furnish a company vehicle and all the necessary equipment for the job. 

Job Requirements

  • Must possess a CDL (Class B) or willingness to obtain a CDL license within 90 days.  
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime (nights/weekends) to satisfy customer needs
  • Be able to pass background check, drug screen and physical (pre-employment and as customer require)
  • Ability to enter manhole opening 22 inches in diameter and crawl in confined spaces (scale pits), ability to kneel for prolonged periods to perform scale tasks
  • Must be able to pass State test for Service Agent in the Weighing Industry
  • Electronics and mechanical experience is a plus. Welding experience is desired but not required.
