- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in at a senior account manager or account executive level for an independent insurance brokerage. Professional designation is desired.
- A detailed understanding of complex risk management accounts that require claims handling, account development and advocacy to support changes to their business exposures. Therefore, you must have experience with managing large deductible, SIR and loss sensitive programs.
- Exhibit leadership skills akin to mentoring and training staff, running point on new accounts and creating unique marketing solutions.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex insurance or other legal documents. Ability to research and/or respond effectively to inquiries. Ability to appropriately communicate information to all levels of client, including portfolio companies and private equity clients.
- State insurance license.
The Senior Commercial Account Manager, Account Executive role works on assigned accounts as the primary client steward and is responsible for providing client service and marketing in support of this specialty insurance brokerage's business goals and strategies. This position engages in an in-depth analysis of client program and coverage requirements and takes an active role in developing insurance programs and managing relationships. This position actively participates in the due diligence process such as policy review, analysis and recommendations for improvement including quantitative and qualitative feedback. You'll work closely with the Senior Vice President of Sales on his clients with limited supervision but with delegation responsibilities for associate support team members.
