JOB SUMMARY:
Provide direction to other production team members in identification and correction of electrical, mechanical, and structural non-conformances.  Prepare the unit for shipping to the customer.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent in this position and are not all-inclusive. • Perform quality assurance inspections, identify and document and insure correction of non- conformances
• Develop construction standards and techniques
• Preparation and loading of units for shipment including securing of items, rigging and hoisting 
• Direct other team members throughout Production in the correction of non-conformances in structural, mechanical, and electrical assemblies
• Assist in the administration of (ECR/N, BOM, NCM) procedures and storage of quality records
• Perform corrections, repairs and assembly in addition to efforts of other team members as needed to meet production delivery goals
• Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner, insuring the work area is clean and orderly throughout the process.
• Familiarity with problem resolution and corrective action procedures for resolving NCM, ECR, material requisition, and other issues.
• Contribution, trial, and evaluation of efficiency, quality, and safety improvement ideas based on internal and external proposals.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain ISO-9001 standards. 
• Observe all safety rules.
• Active in continuous improvement and Lean activities









Job Requirements


SKILLS & JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Able to operate hand, power and pneumatic operated tools common to the trade.
• Blueprint reading capabilities, understanding of measurements and tolerances 
• Operate a crane
• Operate a forklift
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to write legibly
• Basic math skills
• Honesty and integrity
• Ability to deal with people in a positive manner
• Good written and verbal communication skills


PHYSICAL:
• The position is in the manufacturing factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
• Lifting of 10 pounds frequently, 40 pounds or more occasionally with assistance
• Ability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, climbing (to 10 ft), and other positions.
