Second Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

David’s Bridal, the largest and most successful bridal retailer in the country, has grown to over 325 stores nationwide, and more stores continue to open all the time! The Second Assistant Store Manager is a member of the store management team responsible for supporting the Assistant Manager with sales floor management, loss prevention issues, and other duties as necessary. In addition, the Second Assistant Store Manager performs any Division of Responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager and may monitor sales performance over a specific division, a specific function, or both. The Second Assistant Store Manager is a key holder and will be responsible for opening or closing the store and the accompanying duties assigned to that task. Job Requirements

Required Experience: One year prior retail in a supervisory role

• Support the Assistant Manager in floor management
• Train Customer Service Representatives
• Search customer profiles and prepare for appointments
• Manage day to day operations of the store when the assistant and store manager are not in the store.
• Ensure cash wrap and welcome desk areas are organized
• Perform effective coaching to all associates
• Flexibility to work retail schedules such as weekends, evenings, and Holidays
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs., climb, bend, twist, stand, and to move throughout the store
