Job Purpose:
The IT Senior Systems Administrator implements and supports IT system and network infrastructure. This includes data centers, networks, storage, servers, infrastructure applications, and security.
Essential Functions:
•Provides consistent professional support to the CCS organization
•Plan and Design new installations and changes to IT Infrastructure.
•Monitor, Administer, Support, and Trouble shoot assigned IT Infrastructure.
•Develop system documentation and procedures related to assigned IT Infrastructure.
•Collaborate and communicate with team members, IT Team, and Leadership.
•As part of the IT Technical Services team, provide system support on a 7x24 basis.

Job Requirements

Education:
•Degree in related area from an accredited college or university or 5+ years in a Systems Administrator support role.
Experience:
•5+ years technical support experience. Must be fully able to perform hands on support for assigned systems. Expertise in multiple technical disciplines including Data Centers, Networks, Storage, Servers, and Security. Expertise in VMWare implementation and support, Microsoft Windows Server, AD and Exchange. Ability to speak comfortably with technical and non-technical users. Proven record of success managing projects to successful completion. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Licenses/Certifications Some combination of Cisco, VMware, Enterprise storage or Microsoft certification is preferred.
