Director of Physician Recruiting

Job Description


Responsible for all recruiter training and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing various educational programs that will promote the development of recruiting personnel.
  • Train recruiters on all stages of the recruiting process.
  • Work with Operations to assist in exceeding hiring goals, managing staffing expectations, defining project management process, advertising and determining budget guidelines.
  • Create programs and strategies that enhance the professional development of recruiting personnel.
  • Provide strategic planning and support for staffing and recruitment processes.
  • Develop benchmarks to assess outcomes (employment metrics).
  • Represent the company at national conferences and conventions
  • Requires some travel
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
  • Manage Recruiting Managers and Recruiters.

Effective information systems security is a team effort involving the participation and support of every EmCare employee who deals with information and/or information systems. It is the responsibility of every Information Systems employee to: Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Comply with Information Systems security policies, standards and procedures. Use all available protections to safeguard computer systems under their charge from unauthorized access. Report all suspicious requests, incidents, and situations

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent experience.


  • Must have three (3) or more years of current experience developing and delivering training strategies and content to nationwide audience. Experience as professional speaker and/or motivator is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years physician recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience.
  • Experience with marketing, branding, and developing targeted recruiting and ad-specific strategies is required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must exercise independent judgment and complete projects independently
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and strong analytical abilities.
