Your training begins by learning the role of front-line operational supervisors. This 20-week orientation enables you to observe supervisors during the operational shifts of an ABF Service Center. Then you will personally supervise operations under the supervisors' tutelage, gaining new insights into safety, maintenance, and transportation procedures.
Account management is another key aspect of a logistics solutions provider. Therefore, you will follow-up your exposure to operational procedures by spending five weeks with an ABF Service Center's account managers on client presentations and entertainment activities, you will learn the dynamics of proactively managing ABF accounts.
Plus, you will master key administrative functions, including cash management, customer service, and payroll.
Upon completion of training, you will likely begin your career as either a front-line supervisor or an account manager at an ABF Service Center.
