Junior Data Warehouse Developer

Job Description

The HomeAdvisor Data Warehouse team is growing! We're seeking an eager, intelligent, and highly analytical self-starter who will be a Junior Data Warehouse Developer on our team. In this role, you'll learn how a large internet company deals with data management, as well as how to build Informatica extracts, create and modify data warehouse objects, and solve issues related to data reporting and analytics. You'll have a big impact on how our internal and external clients interact with and use the data we collect.

Job Requirements

What you'll need to demonstrate to get this job:
- A strong technical aptitude with a desire to get into data management/data warehousing
- Some experience working with databases and data structures (Access, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Some programming/scripting/SQL experience
- A keen analytical sense and a desire to solve complicated problems
- Broad knowledge of the SDLC, ETL (Informatica), star schema, and data warehousing is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or a similar program is a plus, but not required.
