Phoenix-based SRP, the nation's third-largest public power and water utility, is recruiting an SAP BW Developer/Analyst.
Support the day to day operation and stability of the SAP BW and BI environments. Monitor and ensure timely data updates for the business users. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including identifying and developing solutions for break fix and long term improvement and stability. Analyze new requirements for new data areas and/or enhancements to existing data models and develop technical designs. Implement development to deploy new data models or approved enhancements. Perform unit, and application testing, as well as support and participate as needed in user acceptance testing and production validation activities. Create and maintain proper documentation for specifications, testing, change management and run support as required. Interact daily with SAP support teams, BI team, and end users to support the SAP BW and BI environments.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
•Requires 3 or more years of direct development experience in SAP BW, including experience with versions 7.0 &/or 7.3
•Knowledgeable on Business Intelligence concepts, best practices, and procedures
•Understanding of database principles, multi-dimensional design & analysis
•Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
•Experienced in translating functional business requirements into technical designs
•Expert at implementing technical designs in SAP BW environment including experience with data modeling, transformations/ETL, master data, hierarchies, and query (BEx) development
•Strong understanding of SAP source systems, including ECC (R/3) and SRM including direct experience with developing and supporting extraction from those systems using both delivered content and custom extractors
•Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
•Able to work independently and deliver quality results based on provided requirements
•Past implementation of Open Hub in SAP BW
•Experience using SAP Business Objects 4.0 or higher versions, specifically with BICs connections to SAP BW, Web Intelligence, Analysis, and Dashboards or Design Studio
•Strong ABAP coding experience for data extraction and ETL
•In depth understanding of the Finance and Supply Chain modules in SAP's ECC (R/3) system
•Business requirements gathering and direct end user support and interaction
•Previous Utility Industry experience

Senior Computer Analyst - Salary Grade 54:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science plus five years of experience; or a Bachelor's Degree in related field appropriate for the assignment plus six years of experience.
Computer Analyst - Salary Grade 52:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science plus two years of experience; or a Bachelor's Degree in related field appropriate for the assignment plus three years of experience.
Associate Computer Analyst - Salary Grade 51:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science; or a Bachelor's Degree in related field appropriate for the assignment plus one year of experience.
