Job Description:
URS is seeking a Navy Engineering Technologist to apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military combat systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as Electromagnetic Combatability (EMC) / Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Surveys/Certifications, system integration, topside combat systems problem identification and corrective actions, and Navy INSURV inspections. 
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Vocational/Technical school or Associates degree and at least 8 years of job-related experience or equivalent and at least five years of professional experience with military systems Former Navy Electronic Technician experience/background desired. Experience with NEC ET-1419 is desired. Familiarity with Electromagnetic Compbatibility (EMC) or Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) preferred.OTHER JOB_RELATED REQUIREMENTS:Moderate bending, climbing and lifting is anticipated. Lifting will not exceed 75lb.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Some travel is anticipated.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques; Knowledge of the associated equipment and systems.Must hold an active DOD SECRET Security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
