Metals USA has an immediate career opportunity for a Sales Administrator at our Mobile, AL location. This position will provide clerical/administrative support for the inside/outside sales team and general office administrative functions.
Assists in keying customer orders, customer calls or questions
Verifies accuracy on customers billing and keyed orders
Maintains files (records) for all service center invoices, shipping orders, work orders, sales orders, customer quotes
Verifies material receipts and updates inventory counts
Provides clerical support to the sales staff at the service center
Distributes incoming mail (both inter-company and USPS)
Answers telephones and provides general information to callers, takes messages, and/or directs calls to appropriate individuals
May keep records of cash safe and credit card payments, and fill-out banking deposits
May verify and code service center invoices and submit for final approval.
May coordinate the ISO quality program (in locations where applicable – must have proper training
May maintain Mill-Test reports for customer orders
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
