Lighting Retrofit Sales Representative

Our LED, Fluorescent and specialty fixtures let building owners and managers retrofit their facilities and drastically cut energy consumption, creating big cost savings and significant environmental benefits.
 
Position Overview:
 
The Outside Sales Representative must be located in Northern California (Sacramento, Bay Area, Merced) and shall focus on Northern California, Nevada and Southwest.  The ideal candidate shall have the people skills necessary to support P2 customers to ensure that, as P2 grows, clients continue to receive the outstanding products and service they have come to expect. This position will appeal to an individual who wants to increase regional revenues for an entrepreneurial brand that is committed to profitable growth.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Identify new business opportunities for energy efficient lighting products offering compelling ROI in the energy focused relighting market channel
  • Identify new customers to secure opportunity for P2 to gain value as new team member to target relighting companies
  • Initiate immediate face to face contact with existing clients and new target clients to push the P2 business forward
  • Follow up on quotes and opportunities identified to increase closing rates in the specified geography
  • Administer technical training for existing and new Precision-Paragon [P2] products for highly experienced customers including product features, functionality, competitive differentiators, and future product road maps
  • Support local regional branch offices of P2 national accounts
 

Job Requirements


 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in relighting industry, either with a manufacturer, lighting maintenance contractor, ESCO, or with an energy focused distributor preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel) a must
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Candidate will be expected to put in the time necessary to ensure the job is done right so that our customers receive best in class service and support

  • Candidate must possess excellent time management skills, the flexibility to change directions rapidly with the response time to make certain client commitments are kept
