    Job Description:
    In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Implementation Specialist is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the clinical process redesign. They will work closely with the Program Manager, Clinical Application Specialist and other Implementation Specialists to ensure implementation is moving in accordance with the
    project timeline. This role will coordinate end-user training processes and develop training best practices.

     
    Job Duties Include:
      

    •         Serves as a local subject matter expert in an ongoing capacity.

    •         Participates in process review activities, understands best practice workflows, and assists in resolution of identified gaps.

    •         Advocates for the adoption of systems and redesigned processes.

    •         Participates in development of testing plans and testing scenarios.

    •         Adapts standard training materials to reflect local requirements, if applicable.

    •         Schedules and conducts end-user training for providers and support staff for the project and ongoing.

    •         Administers standard competency evaluations for basic computing skills and application software.

    •         Assures that all training tasks and issues are successfully resolved prior to go-live.

    •         Participates in the development of and delivery of post-live training.

    •         Provides go-live and post-go-live support for this and other related projects including
    upgrades and enhancements

    •         Schedules chart abstraction prior to and after EHR go-live.

    •         Serves as expert in system functionality in order to conduct formal and informal training sessions for various software applications.

    •         Continually works to improve skills and knowledge of assigned applications and training development and delivery tools.
     

Job Requirements


High School Diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a professional work environment with 1-2 years progressive experience in office / project management. Preferred experience in a health care environment with related knowledge of health care administrative issues. Effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in a variety of settings. Basic understanding of technical terminology. Demonstrated experience in working on multiple priorities consecutively and sequentially and meeting quality standards for accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness. Ability to take initiative, identifies, and proposes systems to enhance project management.  Ability to design, maintain and organize forms and presentations through the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word for shared use.reporting-process documentation and interfacing with other team members to obtain this information.
