Job Description

We are recruiting for a Process Mold Technician for great company in the Rochester. 

Process Mold Technician is a temp to hire position offering great pay and benefits. 

Responsibilities for Process Mold Technician:
Set up Process of molds and load materials. 
Set-up machine operating parameters to process parts to specifications. 
Inspect molds for correct set-up and check to ensure proper materials are at the press prior to start.
Perform thorough part inspections and make appropriate decisions relative to part quality requirements.
Maintain current and appropriate documentation
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to mold cycling and mold function in the press.
Establishes and maintains the set points to produce a quality part at the optimum cycle.
Perform routine, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on molds.
Make preventative maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment.
Responsible for proper handling and care of all materials, molds and tooling.
Will work with 5S and quality of the products you produce.
Requirements for Process Mold Technician:   
Have the ability to identify problems, address them accordingly and have the ability to work with minimal direction.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within mold making.
Must have an in depth understanding of machine operation, process control, mold design, molding technology and maintenance.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and proficiency to understand products and processes.
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
Good written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to work under time pressure and prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Plastics Injection Molding.
CAD experience a plus.
Associates Degree preferred or a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in injection molding setup and processing.
this is a day shift position, Monday thru Friday with pay up to 18.00/hr. DOE
