To accomplish strategic and facility objectives through functional support and direction from the Plant Manager and manages Shift Supervisors who manage operations personnel.
II. POSITIONS DEMANDS
Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a minimum of five years experience in the petrochemical industry. Operational knowledge of coke calcining operations, waste heat recovery, and power plant operations is a plus. Experience with environmental, quality, safety, plant security, housekeeping, personnel management, and training is required. Requires good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and planning/time management skills.
III. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to the Lake Charles Plant Manager. Directly supervises all plant operations personnel. Deals directly with corporate office personnel, contractors, suppliers, and the community.

Safety – OSHA recordable injury and illnesses
Environmental Control – Compliance with environmental permits
Quality – RD and other quality parameter conformance
Operating Factor – Actual vs. budget operating factor
Managing personnel – communicate performance expectations, hold people accountable for their performance, monitor and document performance (good and bad), timely follow-up of personnel issues, discipline personnel when necessary, enforces policies, rules, and regulations, ability to implement change in a reluctant environment.(Salary Depends on Experience)
