Job Description


-Work closely with Payroll Manager to coordinate and monitor payroll including the management of various payroll related items as earnings and deductions, fringe benefits, relocation, wage and tax payment, interfaces and reporting, for approximately 13,000 employees.

-Provides day-to-day operations support for the delivery of outsourced services to the employees, ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

-Work closely with Payroll Manager to ensure that the Payroll Vendor maintains and produces accurate feeds to payroll, corporate payroll and accounts for all employee earnings, deductions, taxes, direct deposits, manual checks, time and attendance, pay calculations, special executive payments, severance payments, W2's .

-This role requires significant relationship management with internal resources, vendors and the company's employees.

-Provides functional and technical expertise regarding the HR/Payroll systems.

-Provides the Payroll Manager with support for audit, reconciliation and accounting of the multi-company, multi-state corporate payrolls and general ledger accounts to ensure compliance with corporate policies/procedures and Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulatory requirements, including international payroll (UK, France, Puerto Rico and Canada) taxation structures.

-Assist the Payroll Manager in ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensuring that such commitment to compliance is fully communicated to staff, internal and external clients and all other parties within assigned area of responsibility. Ensures timely resolution of payroll issues with various tax jurisdictions and regulatory authorities

-Provide support to Payroll Manager for analysis and reporting of trends and opportunities for improvement of vendor services

Job Requirements



-Bachelor's degree
-PeopleSoft payroll experience required.
-7 Years Functional experience in payroll, audit, reconciliation, and payroll tax payment/reporting in a multi company/ multi state environment with +5,000 employees.
-5 Years experience working in a Human Resource Outsourcing environment
-2 Years vendor management of outsourced payroll solution desired
-2 Years project management experience
-2 Years customer service experience

-CPP payroll certification desired
-Training/certification in a quality assurance program
