Job Description


Position Purpose

Responsible for calling patient insurance plans to verify benefits, obtain authorizations in an efficient and timely manner.  Also responsible for reviewing patients financial responsibility with them prior to their appointment.

Primary position responsibilities

  1. Calls patients insurance plans to verify benefits and obtain authorizations, when needed.
  2. Verifies necessary information and records in the medical record.
  3. Review and counsels patients regarding their financial responsibility prior to their appointment.




Job Requirements


The position requires at least two years of healthcare insurance verification and eligibility experience.
