Job Description

The payroll specialist position is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic process, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.  Qualified candidates must have prior multi-state payroll experience in a high volume environment (500 plus employees).

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Full knowledge of Payroll processing
  • High volume payroll processing experience on a multi-state platform
  • Ability to process over 500 plus employees
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
  • Must possess sound decision making skills and multi-task while working in an environment of stress with specific deadlines
