Job Description

The Mergis Group is presently conducting a search for a Tax Accountant for their rapidly growing CPA Firm client in West Los Angeles. In this newly created role, the candidate will be responsible for: preparing individual partnership, S & C Corp, and trust & estate returns. Additionally, candidate will be responisble for assisting with various accounting and bookeeping projects on an as needed basis. Company offers friendly work-environment, supportive management, opportunities for growth, competitive benefits and a base salary up to $60k.

Job Requirements

The right candidate for the role will have at least 3 years of relative work experience, a bachelor's degree in Accounting from a 4-year university, advanced skills with MS Excel, possess the ability to work well within a team environment, have a desire to lead a team and grow with a growing organization. Other requirements include:

* Excellent Analytical Skills
* Top Notch verbal and written communication skills
* In-Depth knowledge of GAAP Accounting
