The Honda Program Manager is responsible for the program management of harness and connector products specific to Honda. This includes providing technical and scheduling support for all impacted platforms and model years. Under the direction and with the support of the Japanese OEM Sales Manager, the Honda Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing programs through the prototype, development and delivery phases after the design-in effort is completed. The Program Manager will be the main interface to the customer during development and production cycles. This would also include resolving capacity issues and assisting with delivery & production issues. The Honda Program Manager will be responsible for tracking and reporting progress of programs to the customer and within the company. The Program Manager will be expected to communicate the customer’s requirements within the company's organization and interface with multiple groups within the company's to ensure customer’s requirements/expectations are understood and met. The program manager will also be responsible for commercial issues including annual price reduction negotiations and pricing of new products. Additional Sales responsibilities will be required as departmental workload dictates. In addition to previous Sales experience, the individual must have general knowledge about the connector industry including harness and connector components and working with Honda. 1.) Management of Honda programs. 2.) Reporting of program details, progress, and issues to both customer and relevant departments. 3.) Identify and facilitate resolution of critical business issues. 4.) Interface between the customer and the company's Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Manufacturing groups. 5.) Responsible for commercial activities for assigned customers. 6.) Provide sales and bookings forecasts for Honda programs and other customers as assigned.
