Title of Position: Executive Sous Chef
Job Description:
 The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for the culinary staff. Ensuring all personnel is adhering to all safety, security and health regulations, maintaining absolute cleanliness and providing exceptional dishes to our guests 100% of the time will be among the responsibilities of the Executive Sous Chef. The right candidate will be familiar with all operations of the kitchen and have the ability to assist in any position as the need arises. As our Executive Sous Chef you are in the position to develop your career and we’re committed to assist you in becoming versed in functions of the Executive Chef such as product ordering, inventory control and scheduling. The Executive Sous Chef will maintain a professional atmosphere and an open line of communication to ensure culinary staff concerns are dealt with appropriately.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years current experience as a salaried Sous Chef in a high volume (over $4m per year in sales) Upscale Casual concept
  • New restaurant opening experience required
  • From-Scratch background required
  • Mexican Cooking experience a huge plus
  • Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
  • Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Executive Sous Chef must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
