Premier Beverage Company PM Warehouse Associates Needed Premier Beverage is a leading distributor of fine wine and spirits of Florida and is now hiring Full Time PM Warehouse Associates!!! I. POSITION SUMMARY Processes Customer orders by pulling appropriate product by case or bottle and loading onto delivery trucks. II. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS Locates cases and/or bottles by receiving oral instructions via work order and/or voice pick system. Place located cases and/or bottles onto conveyers by following sequenced direction via bar coded labels, work order and/or voice pick system. Replenishes product locations by conveying product from storage areas onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Product containers are identified by attaching bar coded labels in appropriate sequence. Ensure order accuracy by random case verification. Moves materials and products in a safe manner by using motorized fork lifts and/or hand trucks as appropriate. Loads delivery trucks in sequence by stacking cases in a safe manner utilizing bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Loads transfer cages in sequence by stacking cases in a safe manner utilizing bracing to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Performs duties in a safe manner by following established safety rules and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. III.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. *Must be 21 years of age Education and experience: High School diploma or GED Experience: 0-1 years related warehouse experience and/or training preferred, not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving and inventory control principles Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read/write English is required. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to associates. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates and /or licenses: Motorized fork lift certification preferred, but not required. IV. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The associate must regularly move up to 10 pounds, frequently move from 25-60 pounds/occasionally move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception. V. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
