Experience: Three years of progressively responsible housekeeping and custodial experience, preferably in an acute care hospital or health care agency.
Knowledge of: Principles of supervision; general sanitation methods, materials, and techniques that include wall, floor, and fixture cleaning and chemical and disinfectant usage.
Ability to: Supervise the work of others; establish and maintain records; prepare clear and concise reports; read, comprehend, interpret, and apply policies and procedures; establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Required Probationary Period - As an Approved Local Merit System, the County of Riverside requires all new regular or seasonal employees to serve an initial probationary period, the duration of which is indicated in the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, County Resolution, or Salary Ordinance.
