E-commerce Project Manager

Interactive Business Systems has partnered with a Cincinnati area firm to locate a project manager for a contract to hire position.


Responsibilities


  • Manage overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross‐functional project oriented work efforts
  • Administer project management processes and methodologies for the Interactive Marketing department to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
  • Continuously monitor development process and proactively work to identify and resolve issues within the projects and across programs
  • Ability to understand, interpret, manage and communicate technical and business teams needs, concerns, risk, issues and collisions across all departments
  • Manage project managers to track key project milestones, adjust project plans and/or resources, and administer processes that are flexible and transparent to accommodate various business constituents while ensuring dependable delivery
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to projects and staff in a matrixed environment.
  • Ensure appropriate project documentation is produced
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities including: planning, assigning, and directing work; onboarding new employees; working with direct reports to ensure they understand expectations of their performance and to help them identify commitments; providing direction and feedback via regular meetings and as needed

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, four years of college, specialized professional training, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of project management experience in delivering projects that involve marketing and ecommerce projects.

  • Product delivery; experience must cover all phases of a project lifecycle (Discovery, Definition/Design,Development/Testing, Delivery and Post‐Implementation Support).

  • Experience leading and directing teams consisting of resources from across the enterprise

  • Experience in writing, reviewing and managing business specifications, technical specifications, project plans,training plans, communication plans, and other related project documentation.

  • Experience with project management tools
