Job Description

Manufacturing company located in the University area of Charlotte, NC is looking for a full time Accounts Payable Specialist. Benefits and flexible schedule available. Duties will include processing domestic accounts payable for several locations. This includes receiving, reviewing, coding, keying, and maintaining documentation for all AP invoicing and payments (which may be checks, wires, or ACH). Position may assist with month end closing, quarterly and year end audits, or other accounting projects. Other duties include assisting Human Resources through approving timesheets, updating various schedules, entering payroll journal entries, and addressing ad hoc requests. Individual will also be expected to address special projects as needed. Ideal individual will be organized, detail oriented, possess at least five years' experience in Accounts Payable and be familiar with Macola software and proficient in Excel. Candidates must have experience processing inventory invoicing. IRS 1099, and sales tax experience a plus. Send resume, references, and salary history to be considered for the position.
