CATAWBA INDIAN NATION ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
justifies, designs and implements planning processes related to the economic development and the strategic allocation of the tribe's resources. Oversee all economic development related programs, ensures proper management, administration and reporting for grants and contracts. Reviews, evaluates and makes recommendations regarding business proposals made to or by the Catawba Nation, in the context of the Catawba's overall plans and polices. Must have at least a Bachelors Degree; preferably in Planning, Management or related field with at least two (2) years experience in a related planning capacity and the ability to bring sustainable Economic Development projects to the Tribe within 2 to3 years. Native American Indian preference shall apply to this position pursuant to the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (24 U.S.C. 450, et seq.), 25 CFR 271.44 and other relevant laws (title 25, U.S. code, Section 472 & 473).
