The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the overall daily operations of the medical and dental clinic locations, within the policies and guidelines established by the Board of Directors.
The COO directs the operation of the facilities through subordinate managers. Reports directly to the CEO and advises the CEO on the development and implementation of clinic policies and daily
operational issues. The COO exhibits support of the Mission and Values of Clinica Sierra Vista. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as COO in a medical setting, preferably in
ambulatory care. Bachelors in business/healthcare administration or related field required, masters degree preferred. Must have strong communication skills, leadership skills, and ability to work in a
collaborative team oriented environment. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop professional relationships with physicians, staff, and management. Must be able
to work with high volume and stressful situations, and be able to motivate, develop, and lead direct reports. Must be able to read, analyze, and take action with operational reports, budgets, and other documents necessary to effectively manage operations of Clinica.
