Watershed Program Manager

Job Description

Pierce Conservation District seeking Watershed Program Manager, salary range $4,491- $5,607 per month, DOQ. The Watershed Program Manager assists small livestock farm owners and operators primarily in, but not limited to the Key Peninsula, Gig Harbor and Islands Watershed in applying natural resource conservation practices. This will be achieved through: outreach, educational events, obtaining financial assistance for landowners, writing management plans, and working with other jurisdictions to assist landowners in complying with all federal, state, and local laws. The person in this position must have a bachelor's degree with academic training and/or experience in agricultural operations, natural sciences or related fields. Significant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. At least one year of experience in similar working environment. Position closes 4:00 pm July 25, 2014.
