WATER QUALITY TECHNICIAN/ CREW LABOR The Village of Caseyville is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Public Works Department. The position is responsible for and focused on required reports and sampling required by the IEPA. It would include but not limited to monthly water quality reports, monthly samples, new construction samples and all other reports and samples required by the IEPA. Basic computer skills, database and Microsoft Excel programs will be used. This position would also be responsible for chlorine chemical feeding, light maintenance on water pumps, electric valves and chorine facilities. Other responsibility will include repair and maintenance of Village water lines, sewer/ drainage repair, buildings and equipment, reading water meters. Operates light /heavy equipment; performs maintenance. Knowledge in other activities such as street cleaning, grass/tree cutting, snow removal, and mosquito spraying would be a plus. Position would respond to twenty-four hour emergency calls regarding municipal utility services. A high school diploma or equivalent, Class C Driver's License, Class C Water License from the IEPA, and experience in a water facility/water quality is required. Related work experience in municipal services/utilities is desired.
