Job Description

Position: Coin Handler / Shipping & Receiving (warehouse)
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Rate: $10/hr
Schedule: TBD (hours of operation are from 6am - 10pm)
Length of assignment: Temporary

Specific Responsibilities:
• Continuously feeding bags of loose coin into a machine for up to 4 hours per shift, operating from 2-7 machines at a time
• Manually positioning coin rolling machine and chutes to fill boxes on conveyor belt
• Sealing, weighing, initialing, and lifting boxes onto rack
• Function is performed repetitiously for up to 4 hours per shift
• Similar duties/titles include laborer, loader, material handler, warehouse worker, stock clerk, shipper/receiver and light industrial.

Requirements for Position:
• Unrestricted ability to stand, walk, bend and squat
• Ability to repetitiously lift bags of coin weighing 30-55 pounds from ground level to a height of at least 4 feet, cut open, and pour the contents into a machine hopper, at the rate of 1 bag per minute
• Ability to lift boxes of rolled coin (weighing as much as 12-25 pounds) off conveyor belt and position on rack on level from 6 inches to 3 feet off floor level
• Ability to count, add and subtract; record numbers and signatures; read weights and distinguish coin denominations

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
