Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Function:  The Senior Project Manager is mainly responsible for providing vision, leadership, and direction to the Project Manager team, leads and takes ownership for the successful implementation and execution of multiple projects, ensures all projects are completed on time, on budget, with the highest possible quality, maintain a master schedule of all project initiatives, proactively identify and address project issues, and maintain the integrity of the project manager team through continued effective communication, coaching, mentoring, and training.


Continues to work with the project manager team regarding the overall planning, management and completion of projects. Collaborates with the Executive and Management teams to define and develop project scope, goals, and deliverables. Utilizes project management skills to manage project roles, define and secure required resources, identify deliverables, monitor project timelines, and insures project excellence through customer satisfaction and reporting structures. Documents opportunities to integrate systems and resources to fulfill project requirements.


Supervises: All department Project Managers


Reports to: VP of Finance

Job Requirements

  • Leads and works with project manager team on all assigned projects
  • Responsible for the development and management of project plans across multiple departments
  • Determines detailed approach and timeline of projects
  • Provides leadership excellence by building relationships, motivating team and colleagues, providing clear direction, and cooperative teamwork
  • Defines roles and expectations of project manager team and ensures timely feedback
  • Identifies and resolves issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk, and timeline
  • Creates and manages contingency plans for all projects if necessary
  • Maintains positive and effective working relationships with all members of the Project Manager team and supports all departments
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prioritizes and monitors all project tasks and resources  
  • Occasionally, the Senior Project Manager will be asked and expected to perform various, miscellaneous, and non-standard duties as required. Such duties are diversified in nature and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company.



  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Project Management Certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional.
