The Washington, DC office of is looking for a mechanical engineer to join our team.

Working with us, you will:

  • Develop solutions to challenging HVAC issues with integrated architecture and engineering project design teams
  • Lead and perform analysis, design and documentation of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, laboratory and process piping and controls
  • Contribute to our sustainable design initiatives by using a variety of software to perform energy, heating and cooling load and computational fluid dynamic calculations

We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package, including 401(k) and continuing educational reimbursement. We offer 3 weeks of paid time off within the first year of employment, with the option of purchasing additional time off, and pay for 8 federal holidays. We also offer an alternative work schedule that provides employees with an additional 15 days off per year (usually Fridays) to help with work/life balance.

Professional Salary Range (75,000.00 to 100 ,000.00)

Job Requirements

An ideal candidate has:
  • At least 4 years of experience working as a mechanical engineer designing HVAC , plumbing, fire suppression, sustainable design and automatic control systems, including experience performing energy models
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) registration, preferred
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit software is a Must.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
