ACCESS Mental Health CT

This is an exciting and innovative program providing psychiatric consultation to pediatric primary care providers and linking youth to behavioral health resources.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Behavioral Health Clinician for ACCESS Mental Health CT will provide telephonic consultation and office or community-based short-term clinical transitional care.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The clinician must be a licensed psychologist, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC) or another DCF approved licensed mental health professional.

 

The clinician must be knowledgeable of local behavioral health resources and able to serve as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

 

Displays excellent work habits (attendance, promptness, timeliness, professionalism), is open to feedback, and makes good use of time.  Proven ability to communicate effectively.

 

Must have exceptional customer service and organization skills.

 

SCHEDULE

Full time.  May include evening hours and flexibility to travel as needed.
