Product Development Scientist

Job Description


Our client is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Product Development Scientist to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional who has a go-getter attitude.

1) Plan, organize and oversee process/production trials
2) Make improvements/modifications to current processes
3) Formulate new production processes or stages within processes
4) Generate ideas for new products and researching feasibility
5) Record and analyze data
6) Present results to senior/other staff and investigate, and testing new equipment
7) Liaise with engineering, research, technical and/or production staff
8) Supervise junior staff including technicians
9) Write/read technical papers, reports, reviews and specifications
10) Keep up-to-date with relevant scientific and technical developments

Job Requirements


1) University degree is required (preference will be given to those with degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the foodservice industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to people have recent experience in product development
