Job Description

The Dean reports directly to the Loudoun Campus Provost and is responsible for managing the curricula and course offerings for the Division, including planning, developing, administering, monitoring, and supervising all academic matters within the Division. The Division currently encompasses 19 academic disciplines including STEM fields, the Business/Accounting cluster, and specialized degree programs in Veterinary Technology and Horticulture.

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and direct instructional operations, activities, processes, and facilities to maintain division and College priorities and established standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Direct and organize division-wide educational planning and program development in accordance with the mission, goals, and objectives of the College and division

Job Requirements

Earned doctorate in an academic discipline, higher education leadership, or related field; experience in developing, improving, and promoting academic programs in STEM disciplines. Expertise in efficient course schedule management in a higher education institution.
