Smartsource needs a Desktop support tech to work on site for a customer in St. Paul, MN (downtown).

Term: 1-2 Months

Position Title Support Technician



Estimated Start Date: 5/5 or sooner



Hours:/Days: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM



Pay Rate: $18/hr



Role:
We are in need of a Support Technician for a 1-2 month opportunity located in St. Paul MN.



Job description:

This position is to provide Desktop Support to internal and external users in a Microsoft Windows based environment.

The environment is Windows XP and Windows 7 while the hardware that will require troubleshooting is all Desktops, Laptops and Tablets.

We need someone with a great attitude, that can work in a fast paced environment and has the ability to multi-task.



Qualifications:

Must pass a drug and criminal background check before starting

2-3 years experience working in the IT Field

2-3 Solid background deploying new hardware related equipment such as Desktops and Laptops

Must have a background imaging PCs using such tools like Ghost

Must have excellent customer service background.
