Financial Analyst II

Job Description

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Accounting team at its Headquarters in Sacramento.

This position involves performing various accounting and finance functions. Duties include financial statement and regulatory reporting, financial analyses, performing cost and profitability analysis for the organization, including branches, departments, and products, and the maintenance of financial systems and models. The successful candidate will cross-train in several accounting and finance functions, and will assist the Financial Accounting Manager in special projects as assigned.

Salary is DOE.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics
  • At least three years of experience in cost and profitability analysis and related accounting or finance experience, preferably at a financial institution The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and strong computer software skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
The successful candidate will need to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
